NOW HIRING: Mīyō Pimātisiwinkamik Director

Tuesday, July 8 2025

The Rocky Boy Health Center is launching a bold new initiative for our youth and we’re looking for an innovative, self-starting leader to help bring it to life.
Introducing the Mīyō Pimātisiwinkamik Youth Center—or “Mīyō” for short—meaning “Good Life Lodge” in Cree. This new center is a community-driven vision for youth wellness, cultural growth, and education.
This is a new program for RBHC, and the Director will play a foundational role in shaping programs, building partnerships, and turning vision into reality. The full announcement for the position is available on our website.
The Mīyō Center includes:
A youth-focused clinic
Classrooms for cultural and educational teachings
A cafeteria and teaching kitchen
A gym and fitness center
A garden for edible and medicinal plants
Outdoor spaces for gatherings and cultural activities
The space was intentionally designed to reflect traditional teachings through its form, colors, and layout—drawing inspiration from the medicine wheel and the seasons.
We are seeking a dynamic, creative leader who is passionate about Indigenous youth, cultural preservation, and building something new from the ground up.
Location: Box Elder, MT
Starting Salary: $31.33–$34.47/hour (based on degree/experience)
