Youth age group: 8 -14 years old
Miyō Pimātisiwinkamik westside parking lot.
A bike rodeo is hands on community clinic designed to teach youth how to safely and confidently ride their bicycles. These events feature interactive courses where kids practice traffic rules, hand signals, and essential handling skills under adult supervision.
What to expect at a Bike Rodeo, most bike rodeos break the experience down into a series of interactive stations. Participants cycle through various challenges to test and improve their abilities:
-Safety & Helmet Checks
-Starting & Stopping Drills
-Slalom & Figure Eights
-The "Scan"
-Rules of the Road
Bike maintenance will also be covered.
