There have been 5 confirmed cases of measles in Lewis and Clark County (HELENA, MT). While most of Rocky Boy Reservation is fully immunized, it’s important to stay informed especially with increased summer travel approaching.

Important Information:

• Many exposures occurred in a hospital Emergency Department

• Measles is highly contagious

• Staying alert helps protect our community

If you believe you’ve been exposed or have symptoms:

Do NOT enter the clinic without calling first to prevent spreading illness

Vaccination Reminder:

• 1st MMR vaccine: at age 1

• 2nd MMR vaccine: at age 4

• Not up to date? You may not be fully protected

• Traveling with a child under 1? Ask about early vaccination options
