What to Do If You Received the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine

If you received the Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID-19 vaccine, your risk of having a blood clot is very low and that risk will decrease over time.

Contact your healthcare provider and seek medical treatment urgently if you develop any of the following symptoms:

  • Severe headache
  • Backache
  • New neurologic symptoms
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Leg swelling
  • Tiny red spots on the skin 
  • New or easy bruising

Rocky Boy Health Center has not given any Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines, however, some community members may have received this vaccine from other sites.

Rocky Boy Health Center is still offering Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations.

Anyone is eligible to receive the vaccines. You must be be age 16+ to receive Pfizer. You do not have to have an active chart at the RBHC.
