Environmental Health Department is Accepting Bids for Trash Collection & Disposal for the 2026
Rocky Boy Pow-Wow & Rocky Boy Rodeo
Collection times are ongoing daily before, during, and after events. Pre-Pow-Wow/Rodeo:o All trash on the ground around the arbor, campsites,
walkways, bleachers etc. must be picked up and disposed
of before vendor set up (Wednesday, July 29, 2026 for the
Pow-Wow and by the end of the day on Tuesday, July 28th)
o Place trash cans in centrally accessible locations with liners.
o Ensure trash cans are secure and won’t blow trash
everywhere.
o Determine trash efficient trash collecting route.
During Pow-Wow/Rodeo:o Hourly rounds for trash can collection & disposal. The large
canister will be provided to centrally collect trash bags for
garbage truck pickup.
o Replace trash can liners.
o Pick up loose trash around arbor, under bleachers, &
parking area throughout each day of event
(Wednesday – Sunday for the Rodeo
and Thursday – Sunday for the Pow-Wow)
o Maintain a clean and safe environment, no overflowing
trash cans.
o Clean surfaces/trash in porta-potty three times daily
(8AM, 12PM, 7PM)
After:o Return Rodeo grounds to the state of inspection on
7/28/2026 by 8/4/26
o Return Pow-Wow ground to the state of inspection on
7/29/2025 by 8/4/2026
Provide contact numbers for onsite emergencies and respond to service requests within 60 minutes. The Rocky Boy Health Center will not provide labor, gas, or vehicle.Sealed Bids must be received at the Rocky Boy Health Center by Noon on 7/24/2026

Bids received after the date and time will NOT be considered. The Rocky Boy Health Center will not be responsible for misdirected bids. Contractors should contact the Health Center at (406) 395-4486 ext.1685 to ensure receipt of their bid documents before the closing date.
Eligible bids will be opened and considered at 1:00 on 7/24/2026 in Conference Room A at RBHC.
The bid shall be considered based on cost of procurement, contractor integrity, compliance with Health Center policy, and best overall value for the Rocky Boy Health Center. The Rocky Boy Health Center reserves the right to accept or reject all bids and to make a bid award deemed to be in the best interest of the Rocky Boy Health Center
